Jubilation in Warri, Delta State  as an indigene of Warri, Venerable Best Odeworitse Agbolayah was consecrated as Bishop of the African Church.

The Primate of the African Church,  His Eminence Rt. Rev. Julius Olayinka Abbe who consecrated Bishop Agbolaya,  Sunday October 18, 2020 at the Arch Cathedral in Lagos admonished him to discharge God work with more dedication.

The member Representing Warri Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi  extended his congratulatory message to the newly consecrated Bishop Best Agbolaya, said Venerable Agbolaya who is now Bishop of the African Church is the first indigenous Itsekiri to rise to the exalted office of a Bishop in the Church.

Hon. Ereyitomi in   his congratulatory terse made available by  his spokesman, Amb. Toyin Agbolaya  JP, stated thus.

 " I am convinced that you will exhibit unique competence and experience to the ministry of the African Church and that your consecration will propel the church and the Gospel to greater height".

Rep. Ereyitomi who is also the Deputy Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC and member of other House committees  on behalf of Warri Federal Constituency prayed God to endow Bishop Agbolaya with wisdom and holiness to pilot the affairs of the church.
